Poster presentation:5 groups participated.
Certificates for 1st, 2ndposition,and participation were given.
MBBS Interns gave the poster presentation to give the awareness about the Earth environment, Water & Soil natural sources and requirements for the human kind for the smooth survival to the next better generation’s health and hygiene.

Department of Community Medicine organized an in-house essay competition for MBBS undergraduates and interns of MRIMS on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day.
- The theme for the essay competition was decided to be the same as the WHO theme for World Hepatitis Day 2020 that is: Hepatitis can’t wait.
- Timing and date: 10:30 to 11:30 am on 28th July, 2021.
- An E-flyer was created to spread the information about the event and sent to students through social media groups.

Hyderabad from 25/3/2021 to 27/3/2021. 30 Faculty members of Preclinical, Paraclinical and Clinical departments participated .All the Participants actively involved in all the Sessions by following the SMS precautions.– Social distancing, Masks and using sanitizer. Pretest and Posttest was given on the first day and third days respectively.
Dr. V. V. Sastry, Dean of MRIMS, Dr. Rajasree, Vice Principal were present during the Inaugration Program and Welcomed the Participants.
Dr. Vimala Thomas, Professor and HOD of Community Medicine of Gandhi Medical College and presently the Director of Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, Gachibowli was the Observer for the workshop appointed from NMC.She conducted Session on Interactive and Innovative Teaching methods . Dr. NVN Reddy , Professor and HOD of General Surgery and Convenor of Medical Education, Regional Centre of Medical Education, Gandhi Medical College was the Special Invite on the 3rd day of the workshop and he conducted session on Effective Clinical and Practical skills and also on Assessment methods.The other Resource Faculty were Dr. M. Ramani. Academic Dean, Dr. M.Jamuna rani, MEU Coordinator and ME members Dr. B. I. Navin Kumar, Dr. S. Naveen Kumar and Dr.M. Hima Bindu.
Feedback regarding the Content of the topics and other arrangements was taken in Daily evaluation forms.
The Participants expressed that the workshop was very well organized and Conducted.They mentioned in the feedback forms that attending this workshop was very useful to them as they learnt many aspects introduced in the New CBME Curriculum.
Finally , the Program Concluded by analysis of the Pre-Post test Scores and distribution of Certificates to all the Participants and The Resource Faculty by Dean and Convenor of Regional Centre for Medical Education.

As the New “ Competency Based Medical Education ‘’ Curriculum being introduced from 2019, CISP -2 workshop was conducted for 6 Faculty members of MRIMS ON 17th and 18th July 2020 by JIO -MEET Online workshop under the Supervision and Guidance of Regional Centre of Med ical Education , Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad. About * other medical Colleges also Participated in this workshop.Though the Online workshop Was conducted for the Ist time All the Participant Faculty appreciated the Sessions and all activites were conducted successfully.

Xth Annual State Conference on Medical Education, METCON – 2020 under the aegis of Association of Medical Educationists was hosted by MRIMS on January 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2020.
Pre - Conference workshops were conducted by the guest faculty from Telangana as well as other states and countries on 3rd January, 2020. Eight workshops were and divided for Morning and Afternoon sessions and arranged in different halls in the Medical College Building – (For topics of workshops, - Scientific Schedule attached).
About 150 Medical faculty actively participated in different workshops respectively. There were 20 -25 faculty from different colleges in each workshop.
About 300 delegates registered for the Conference for January 4th & 5th, 2020 at MRIMS. The delegates were the Pre - Clinical, Para - Clinical & Clinical Faculty from different Medical Colleges of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh etc.,
The Guest Speakers were both National & International who conducted the sessions on the topics of Medical Education. The topics were relevant to The Theme of the Conference- They were finding enough to join us and share thesis knowledge & experiences
“IMPLEMENTATION OF CBME – CONCERNS & CHALLENGES.”
The Plenary Sessions, Panel Discussions were a great success and the entire Medical faculty delegates participated with enthusiasm. Certainly it was great privilege for MRIMS - ME Unit to host this conference and to welcome the distinguished delegates.
It was also a great opportunity for all to listen to the outstanding guest speakers and also to the keynote address by Dr. Thomas Chacko.

Vice Chairman of KNRUH was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Our beloved Drectors Of Malla Reddy Health City Dr. Bhadra reddy and Dr. Preeti Reddy graced the event by their presence for the Inaugraion function.
Outstanding work in the field of Medical Education was represented by distinguished and enthusiastic delegates through their oral presentations and posters.
There were 22 paper presentations accepted and 19 posters by delegates from different Medical college faculty.
Best Three Papers & Three Posters were selected by judges and prizes were given to the winners.
Finally feedback regarding the Conference was taken from evaluation forms and certificates distributed to all the delegates.

Case History: A 19 years old female came with complaints of pain abdomen.She had the same complaint on and off since 2 months. On examination, tenderness present in the right iliac fossa. Ultrasound abdomen showed clumping of ileal loops in right iliac fossa and umbilical region. Long segment bowel wall is thickened. Laparotomy done, terminal ileum was resected and was sent for histopathological examination. Details of the case and diagnosis will be discussed at CPC.

The Medical education unit members were the Resource faculty .It started with Inaugration, Lightning of the Lamp and Prayer song.Several Role plays and activities took place during the sessions. A one day workshop on Interactive Teaching Methods was conducted on 21st July 2018 at Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences as a part of Faculty Development program.Total 18 Faculty Members from Preclinical, Para clinical and Clinical departments of Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences (MRIMS) were the Participants for the workshop. They were divided into 5 groups .
The Program started with Inauguration by lighting of the lamp and Welcome speech by Dr Chandrakant Shirole, Academic Director of Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences.
Various topics on Interactive Teaching Methodswere delivered by Experienced and Senior faculty from DOME of MRIMS. DrArchanaDharwadkar, Professor, Department of Biochemistry from Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, LB Nagar, Hyderabad was the Guest Faculty for the Workshop.
